i had to consider carefully where in life i have seen this, where i have been prey to it and especially where it gets twisted. my heart breaks for these poor kids. they deserve to be loved better than this. again, read "listening for the heartbeat of God".... way better filter for life, i think.
i don't really want to be called a christian anymore... any other ideas for a different title? i don't want to be associated with these people at all...

There really isn't anything wrong with being called a Christian. The problem is that real Christians are letting idiots ruin the name. Maybe instead of choosing a different name, you should make the name Christian stand for something good again.
